Just some info on the size of bits and bytes.
Bit - Smallest unit of information, also known as binary digit.
Nibble - 4 bits, or half a byte.
Byte - 8 bits, one character (letter) equals 8 bits.
Word - 16 bits, some computers use words up to 64 bits long.
Kilobyte (KB) - 1024 Bytes.
Megabyte (MB) - 1,048,576 bytes, or 1024 Kilobytes.
Gigabyte (GB) - 1,073,741,824 bytes, or 1024 Megabytes.
Terabyte (TB) - 1,099,511,627,776 bytes, or 1024 Gigabytes.
Petabyte (PB) - 1,125,899,906,842,624 bytes, or 1024 Terabytes.
Exabyte (EB) - 1,152,921,504,606,846,976 bytes, or 1024 Petabytes.
Zettabyte (ZB) - 1,180,591,620,717,411,303,424 bytes, or 1024 Exabytes.
