(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Right I downloaded a film in 1080p and it's 6.25GB and in .MPEG-4 format. It's specifically encoded for ps3 so I need to move the file to my ps3, here's the problem. I have an 8GB memory stick with nothing on it and the computer shows it as empty with 7.75GB free when I try to paste the 6GB film to it an error message comes up saying the device is to small. I have tried other devices like my Ipod 36GB free and I still get the same error message. So any I deas NGU all I want to do is copy and paste a 6.25 gig film to a memory stick and then plug it into my ps3 and copy it to there.

The Error Message:

Well I'm going to assume the USB stick is FAT32 formatted. Why? Because it says it's 'too large for the destination file system'. FAT32 has a maximum of 4GB per file.

So is there anyway I can re-format the device so that I can put larger files on it?

EDIT: Never mind I've just sorted out the problem using google.

The PS3 doesn't read NTFS drives so your best bet is to either transfer it over the air with a media/web server or just download it from your PS3. Another option would be to split the video in half creating 2 3GB files.

Right turns out I couldn't do what google suggested so I'm back to square 1. I need a way to move a 6.25GB file to my ps3 and have it on a device that the ps3 will read I do not want to stream it from my pc to my ps3 either. If someone sorts out the problem then I'll give them 50k vbux.
