The easiest thing for yo to do is just to get a new computer if you plan on playing games... becuas eto upgrade ram and a graphics card you will be getting into the 200-300 $ ranges

need more ram and what is your video memory? you need at least 128mb of video memory, i reccomend 512 or 1024mb ig you can afford

Your problem is that only 1 processor and 1GB of RAM is actually very much outdated now. And (nearly) all new games require much better spec.

Take me for example, I can play any PC game but only on low graphics settings. I have quad-core 2.5GHz & 4GB RAM.

So yeah unfortunately you're gonna need to shell out for a new computer! :O

Wow dont liste to the noobs who say Ram

Its Your Cou And Gpu and Ram not just your Ram because thats were windows goes to when programs are run games all 3 i would personally go on crucial.com see if you can upgrade buy some more ram find out compatible CPU for your motherboard Update to a dual core or if Amd motherboard AMD phenom2 sorry ifspelling not great btw make sure to replace thermal past with a good quality one to make cpu cooler and less laggy

For everyone telling him "Get 4GB of Ram or More!!!1!!one!" You have to realize that his biggest problem is the Single-core CPU and that his computer might not support more than what it already has.

Increasing the page file doesn't actually speed up anything considering the harddrive is slower then ram.

in all honesty, if you get more ram and a new video card, that celeron is going to bottleneck the entire machine because they are shitty CPU's.

You'd be better off just building a new rig

it does if you have very little ram, and a fast enough hard drive. but ya you are better off just building a new computer if you want to do serious gaming, you can only upgrade so far
