(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Here are some important basic things that is ESSENTIAL to prevent your accounts/logins/PC from being hacked.

1.Do not Save Your Logins In Any Browser or Download Managers

There are Viruses that steal the passwords stored in browsers and Download managers(For e.g IDM).It may often remain undetected by your Av cause they are often crypted
-How to protect Yourself
Save Your Logins in a txt on your Hard drive instead of saving them in browsers and Download managers.

2.Always Scan Keygens/Hacking tools

Keygens/Hacking tools are usually detected as Viruses By Most Av. Due to that reason...many turn off their Av's. U should Turn them off BUT Before clicking on File , Scan it with your Av. Then google the viruses that r found. If ever u found that the Virus are used to steal info / key logger DO NOT OPEN FILE. DELETE THAT KEYGEN
-How to Protect Yourself:
Use serials instead of keygen...serial are in txt so no risk

3.Be PRUDENT when clicking on hyper-links

Some Links may redirect u to a Fake site(Phishing site). When u enter your login on that page the hacker will get your account.
-How to Protect Yourself:
Always Check that the links r legitimate(Phishing sites can be easily detected by Av's).
Hint:Fake sites url r very long
Always Type the Url manually.

4. Scan Your computers often
Scaning u'r computers with an Updated Av may be very effective to remove hidden malware and viruses that r stored in programs that u seldom use.
Note:
Most Av's scan in realtime....that is scan the files that u click on.
I RECOMMENDED u to Do a Full scan of your Pc at least once a month
Update u'r Av and Maintenance Programs(e.g Tune Up utilities) Frequently
5.Beware of Drive By
A drive by is usually a plugin that u are asked to install when u visit some sites. It may be a virus/keylogger/rat.Plugin are mostly adobe player ones
How to protect yourself
Always update your adobe and other important plugin from their official website. So ,for e.g, when u visit a site that asked u to install an adobe plugin....U should chec if u have latest verison from adobe website. If yes then that plugin is definitely a drive by

THANKS ARE APPRECIATED

Just because a file shows up as infected doesn't mean it is, it could often be due to a hidden stub, a weird web.browser connection, etc, etc. Basically, its usually a false positive.

Saving password strings in a txt file whilst not encrypting it is dumb, if someone keylogs you they have a live cmd shell and they can identify where your file is via dir/cd or cd ../ combination's. Once discovered, they can access the file, save your passwords on a FTP server and move on. They can also use the search function on Windows.

I'd recommend encrypting pjpeg or an unidentified encryption string to prevent it though.

Download a file dissembler, and look for strings of "password, temp, regedit, pwd, pword, host, email, logins, savedata, etc, etc", often, you'll find api strings that should usually tell you that the file is infected. But some devs are smart, they PI encrypt their work.
