Now you can easily apply a God Mode to Windows. It won’t make you (or your computer) indestructible, but it’s a really convenient and fast shortcut to all your Windows Control Panel settings.
The benefit is that God Mode lets you access all of the Control Panel features from a single folder. That means you don’t have to remember where Control Panel stows Device Manager, for instance. You just find it on an alphabetical list of all control settings.
And it’s really easy to set up. In Windows 7, simply create a new folder on the desktop, and name it “God Mode.{ED7BA470-8E54-465E-825C-99712043E01C}”. (You can rename the folder later, if you like.) Voila! The folder icon is transformed to a Control Panel icon.
