Uh you have to use a USB or disk to update if you go from vista did you do that?

I burned it to a disk then tried running it. When I run it it gives me the option to "Install Windows" I hit that then then this pops up.

Sorry i have no idea maybe try re burning it. Might have gotten messed up or not completely burn't

Do you have more than one partition on your hard drive? I had the same error when I tried to install win 7 as it doesn't like partitions

Well first I had xp then i downloaded vista. Now i want to upgrade to vista and its telling me this. Idk what the patition is, but can you explain it more? (lol im a noob at this)
