(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Hi,

I want to be able to play my PS3 on my laptop in HD as my girlfriend watches TV...

I have EasyCAP however it isnt in HD on my laptop and no sound is produced (I dont know why)

My laptop has windows 7 - its just a standard laptop.. What do I need? I dont mind about price... Do I need a new laptop with HD input?

Thanks

Well I use Pinnacle Studio 14 HD, Easycap, and I use a ps3 S-video cable, it makes the quality a bit better, as for the sound, I don't know what to tell you, my sound already works for it.

No, because the pc hdmi is output only. :plank:

you can get HDMI Capture Cards like Black Magic Intensity Pro, Intensity Shuttle and HD DVR; all use HDMI.

But you need a pretty beastly PC to be able to handle capturing at th highest quality possible (uncompressed).
So research about the product nd make sure you're able to run it before wanting to purchase a high-end cap card.
