Post: Need help with torrent upload speeds

I’m too L33T
(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Everytime I seed a torrent it only uploads at 2.5 kbs or sometimes zero how do I fix it? I tryed windows xp,vista,and seven and now I'm running ubuntu and it still does it how do I fix it?

The settings on the program you are using to download/upload Torrents.

Try playing around with the preferences in utorrent make sure that it's not set to only upload at 2.5kB/s. Also try do the auto configuration in utorrent and if that fails portforward you router.

What ports do I forward I'm using qtorrent

Awww well don't worry most people where I live that's the best they get. Mine says I get 6MB download but iv'e never seen it go above 1MB.

Sometimes you can have the perfect connection settings and they will give you slow download speeds. Always check the amount of seeders to the file you are trying to download. You can also open up your torrent ports on your router.
