- Having many files can not slow down your computer, neither do files use physical memory to be stored. With a lot of files the display of them could be slower (like if you have 5000 files, not all the icons are going to appear immediately)
- Having virus protection will slow down your computer...
- You never suggest ending tasks which are occupying physical memory, a machine's virtual memory does not effect performance
Are you ****ing kidding meh?? RAM does affect a computers performace, especially when you're gaming you tardass! Yes, virus protection will slow-down your performance but not by much if you have say MSE. And for the first one, did you EVER notice when you kept piling and piling shit on Vista it does made it slower, and slower?! But, XP didnt do that, if you downloaded 1,000,000 programs and stored them on XP.....it wouldnt lag or slow down AT ALL. Just saying that because mostly everyone knows if your into computers a lot. Ive been into computers&technology since i was 9 and now im 15 going to college for computer science and shit. I know A LOT about computers, PC especially because Apple can suck my monster cock for making such a shitty OS.

DO NOT GET AVG!!! Virusus are prone to attach themselves to it! Instead, get MSE (Microsoft Security Essentials) Its completely free with real-time protection and auto-updates. VERY lightweight too for you gamers out there.
