(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Okay so I can't take it anymore with my router. Had it for 5 and a half years, and it's on it's last legs! Internet downloads are slow, it has lag spikes everyday, and often disconnects from internet. It's a Linkysys and here's more info about it: You must login or register to view this content.

Anyway around 4pm today I'm going to buy one. However I need your help! What's a good router that has a long lifetime, fit to work with a ps3 and 3 computers running at the same time, and I don't really care what the price is (however under $200 would be nice).

So far this router has my attention: You must login or register to view this content.

Tell me if that above router is any good and tell me your recommendations, thanks Smile

truthfully, you need to buy better connection with the company that you buy connection from. But, since you already got the router... it doesnt matter.:p

Not really. My connection from the company is fine. I did a speed test before switching routers. My old one had 1mb download and like 200kb upload. My new one has 14mb download 3mb upload

I personally own the Linksys E3000 and its amazing. The range is awesome, it also has very good speeds. 6 computers, 2 ps3's (one streaming videos), 1 wii(streaming) and with all of those running I still have a good connection when I want to play the PS3(8.3 download 2.6 upload) I would get it if I were you.

Also if you do get it don't set it up with the install disk use the web based interface. Smile
