Like OLDSCHOOL shit, how do I go back to the way it was before? I need a tutorial, if you don't know the answer, don't reply.

Here's a screenshot -

No when I read that, i thought that's what you wanted, instead of classic set it to 7 basic or a theme if you have a default one

What I'm trying to do is get rid of the oldschool taskbar, like shown in your screenshot.

& how do I set it to a theme ?

You'd have to give me a tutorial on how to set everything up.

sorry forgot to quote you

this should work as it patches over the original theme and patches itself into the HDD

hey guys.
a solution to this is to simply change to a default desktop configuration. its super easy and it looks like the people who posted this a little while ago had the right idea.
Right click on desktop > personalization > scroll down to the section labeled "Aero Themes" > select the basic "windows 7" theme.

this worked for me and i had the same problem. this will default your desktop backgrounds to the default windows 7 background but its easy to reset those.

i hope this helped someone

No but at least it wasn't a post that said lol or how do I do this. They at least did provide a solution in case anyone else did have a problem. Going to close this anyways.
