(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); This is more of just a story rather than anything else. Before we start, why don't I tell you what Browseui.dll is?

Browseui.dll is a program file that most likely arrived on your computer when you purchased it, it most likely was preinstalled software. The actual folder location of this file is also listed below to help you verify this file is not spyware or virus related. This browseui.dll DLL software is a program required by the Internet Explorer browser. This is a Microsoft program, and this DLL is necessary if you are using the Internet Explorer web browser, as it is part of the shell browser library. This file is considered safe and is not virus or spyware related software.

Now, for the failure. I'm sure many of you have heard about Theme's for your PC. Well, lets just say I wasn't exactly thinking this one out. So, the theme I had downloaded came with a Browseui.dll file, which I was supposed to replace with the current one in system32. So I did the usual, took ownership of the needed files, etc. etc...

After I had applied the .dll file I logged off, this is where I realized my mistake. An error window had popped up with the words: This application has failed to start because BROWSEUI.dll was not found. Reinstalling the application may fix this problem.

At first I was like :O, then I was like Cool Man (aka Tustin), I mean after all I am running Vista. So I logged off, then back on, and then...:O:O:O.

I was unable to access absolutely anything. There was literally nothing by a black screen and a mouse. Now I'm like

So I restarted my computer, to no avail. Tried Safe mode, SURPRISE! it was still a black screen. I tried to repair Windows, SURPRISE! it found NO errors. Now I was panicking. I don't have the Vista disk, so I had pretty much no hope, I had tried almost anything, but did I?

It occurred to me that I could run the CMD through the task manager, which I was surprisingly able to access. Now, I was onto SOMETHING. I was a little excited, but still worried. Next, it occoured to me that I could preform a system restore using CMD, and I was like :black:

After the system restore I was back to business.

BEFORE YOU POST: This is just a story that I wanted to share. I was extraordinarily bored, and I found it ironic that this happened the day that I had programming classes, as I wanted to practice.

SO THE MORAL OF THE STORY IS: BE ****ING CAREFUL WITH YOUR SYSTEM FILES.

LASTLY: Don't judge me, I was tired, and woke up extremely early, I wasn't thinking, and just felt like a new look. I had no idea of THIS resulting from it.

ALSO: Please don't respond with tl;dr, just don't spam to get your post count up. READ OR GTFO.

Omg, heres another story. So today, I accidentally dropped my laptop. But it was like only 2, 3 feet max. And it was onto a carpet! But immediately after i got a quick blue screen of death, or some blue screen and then when i turned on my computer all that happened was a black screen poppin up which said "No hard disk found" or some shit like that. I literally almosst 'd. And that was like at 10 in the afternoon. From 10 to 9 o clock at night (2 hours earlier then now), i spent my time googling wtf to do. I even contacted HP and they said it'll cost 398 DOLLARS to fix it. I shit myself. I finally dissabled my laptop and found that the hard disk connector simply got unplugged /facepalm

Moral of the story: Be smart.
Anddd, dont drop your laptop =D
