Alright take out your graphics card and then plug your VGA up to the motherboard graphics... Then install the drivers for your graphics card and then when done re put in the Radeon and plug your VGA cable into the RADEON card not the motherboard..

The gfx card should work even without the drivers. Did you plug in the pci express power to the graphics card

i found out my pcu only has 1 6-pin connector so im going to get an adapter that will give me another one. But even when the video card is not in the computer there is no display. I also think my ram may be incompatible with my motherboard but im not sure

Wow I just re-read this and you realize that your power supply is WAAAAAAY too low of a wattage, you need around 750, my old 600 couldnt keep up with an AMD quad, 4GB of ram, and a 5770, all lower wattage than your parts.

Your right I didnt read that either.... I did not see what power supply you had... I would recommend getting at least a 700 watt..

It might be a smart decision to get 1333. Get corsair or kingston. Its a possibility that it would work right with your current ram, but it would be more stable if you got 1333.

i have solved my problem. Thank you for the help. It turns out that the 700 models for the intel i5 do not have built in graphics so i need to use hdmi with the graphics card but the graphics card couldnt be used because the PSU so i got a new 700watt PSU and plugged everything in right and it now works.

When i use my computer, i get signal to my screen for a period of time but then the screen goes blank. It works fine when i take the graphics card out and use on-board. Could this be because of my PSU that its to small?
