(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Hey so i bought a beastly machine not long ago and it has on-board video and a dedicated graphics card. I had a problem so i took out the graphics card. But now i need to use it so i installed it and downloaded all the drivers and after a certain period of time, i get no signal message on my monitor. My computer works fine when the gpu is out and i use on board video but when i put the gpu back in, after a period of time i get a blank screen. The computer is still running, its just the screen.

Everything is configured correctly as it worked at a computer repair store, its just my house that it don't work at. Have you got any idea whats wrong? My gues is the power consumption or mains socket extensions?

Have you tryed different monitor?, it happens to me once a while i would just power monitor down, disconnect all the wires and plugg them back in and it works for me that way.

Sounds like your card is overheating or something, is the fan on it working when you turn your computer on?

might be power or monitor . did the monitor come with the computer the display setting may do it if they are set to high and the monitor cant handle them it will cause a black screen or burn a image in the screen if any of the above replies don't work check and see if its not the settings maybe call the company you bought it from?

Download a monitoring program (for computer temperatures) and post the results, please. I suggest Speccy, from Piriform. The readings are correct 95% of the time.

Being as it may be something with your GPU (whether it's an inefficient power supply unit, overheating, or incompatibilty), it'd be a great help if you could post your specs. When/if you do, I'll try to find out what the problem may be.
