few months down the track and im looking to buy two new pc monitors which have vga plugs on them.

could i just buy a connector and plug my white dvi cable into the connector and then plug the blue end of the connector to my monitor and do that for both?

and which end of the connector would be what? i think the connector would be both female?

i had to do that too, i went to BestBuy and bought a Dynex DVI to VGA adapter. It works by plugging the adapter to the DVI output and connecting the moniter to the adapter using a VGA cable. It works great and if i remember right it cost me 12$
