First lets first examine what happened back when I could even START UP MSN!!!!

So that was my first problem that arose. I COULDN'T SIGN INTO IT!

After that I uninstalled it and reinstalled it about 4 times, still nothing.

After that didn't work I tried turning off the firewall, resetting internet, flushing dns, etc. NOTHING WORKED!

Then I tried to manually remove this. Now I CAN'T EVEN INSTALL THE DAMN THING! It says it's already installed, BUT IT ISN'T. Look! Here is a picture of me trying to download Windows Live Essentials 2011:

the trouble signing in thing usualy if i troubleshoot then it gets done then i restart it works fine

i would advise not installing any unnecessary toolbars, because they have clogged up registry in past. Make sure your registry is clean of all bad things and i also suggest running a malwarebytes virus scan on your pc. You must login or register to view this content.

What does windows media player have to do with msn?

Hey sometime when you delete the program it will still be there.. so what you should do is go on google and download this program call MY UNINSTALLER... After you uninstall redownload it open your msn as admin and try signing in... Another option you have is on your msn go on your proxy and clear the stock.

I would think you have tried pretty much everything so IMO I would say to install a different version of MSN. Maybe the 2009 version as that is what I use and there is no difference between the two really.
