(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Ok this is a tutorial on how to set up a virtual machine in vmware player Winky Winky

A virtual machine is like a pc inside ur pc for example: in my case im running windows xp on my computer but using vmware player I can run linux or any operating sistem u like. It does not internaly modify the hard drive and it can be ran like any windows program or app Winky Winky. I hope this clears up what is the use of vmware and if u hava any suggestion to improve my thread just quote me Winky Winky

Requirements:
1. Download and install Vmware player for ur pc You must login or register to view this content.
2. Get an .iso image of the operating sistem u want to emulate (in this tut I will be using ubuntu 10.10 You must login or register to view this content. )
3. Have at least 1.50GB free of hard drive.

Procedure:
1. Install Vmware player in ur pc
2. When installation is finished reboot ur pc
3. Start up Vmware player and hit where it says "Create new virtual image"
4. It will give u options to boot ur OS from a CD or an .iso file
5. Choose .iso and browse to ur .iso file u downloaded earlier
6. Click next and follow procedures and select ur preferences

Conclusion:

Congratz!! If u followed all the steps correctly U can now run another os inside ur windows system and dont need any hard drive modifications

**This tut was completely written by me Winky Winky
**Dont forget to hit thanks if the tutorial helped u Winky Winky
**MODS IF THIS HAS BEEN POSTED BEFORE PLZ CLOSE!! Winky Winky

Reorganize your thread please. This is only helpful for those who know how to do it already, not to anyone new.
