(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Hello NGU.
I am about to downgrade my laptop from Windows 7 to Windows XP Pro and i just remembered that everytime i have done this is in the past i have had to formatt my Hard Drive and then i lost my Wireless Network Driver and also My Sound Driver. I am currently using Windows 7 and it has all the drivers installed but i want to downgrade to XP and keep my Drivers. If i choose not the formatt my Hard Drive will it keep my drivers or still lose them.
Please comment back quick as i need to get this done quickly Happy
Thanks

You will lose everything. You can't save any programs or drivers. You can however save your physical documents on an external HDD or a Flash Drive.

You would have to lookup the model for your computer, the manufacturer should have all the drivers somewhere online. But check before you format your hard drive, sometimes those drivers will only be released for certain OS's (ex. if a computer is only made with windows 7, you might not be able to find the drivers for windows xp). And yes you have to format your HDD, backup everything to an external HDD or flash drive.

If you can find the file for the drivers on your hard drive then you can back those up along with all of your files, but there is no guarantee they will work with XP if the drivers are from W7.

I have done this with drivers before when down grading a friends computer. Some worked and some did not.

I have 4gb of RAM and it's enough, but i did disable most of the window-popup animation because those were killing my computer's performance.
