Powerfull PC's at Budget prices

This may seem like common sense to some people, but for others who do not visit eBay reguarly, it may be of some interest.
The aim of this thread is to show you how to find powerfull budgets desktop PC's (Second or First hand) quickly and without going through a load of hassle

First of all, you're going to want to head over to You must login or register to view this content. and type "desktop" into the search bar, this is part is unimportant but it brings up the options on the left hand side quicker.

You should now be on a page like this.

You must login or register to view this content.

After you have reached that page, go to the left hand column titled catergories and click on "Desktop PC's and Monitors"

You must login or register to view this content.

Once you're on that page, click on the "Choose more" link.
Again, this will be on the left hand side.

You must login or register to view this content.

This will open up a grey / white popup box, on the right hand side titled "Other options" go down to processor speeds and tick all the "3.0GHz" + options.
Do the same with ram, but this time tick all of the options above "2GB" (You can choose 1GB if you want)
You can also choose the size of the HDD, but normally a PC with a 3GHz processor will have a decent sixed HDD.

If you want to choose extra features such as Graphics cards, go down to the "Features" link on the right hand side.

You must login or register to view this content.

You will now hopefully be on a results page with a list of powerfull and half decent computers, but there is still one last simple stage.

On the second topmost bar, underneath the search bar, there will be a drop down list named "Sort by".
Click on this, and then click the option "Price + P&P Lowest First"

You must login or register to view this content.

You should now have reached your final destination of your wanted budget PC Smile

Here is the list I got : You must login or register to view this content.

Do a barrel roll!
Processor clock speed isn't the only factor to computer performance.

I know, newer processors will make an impact as well, there is an option to choose the processor type but I didnt include it.

Thats all good if your building from scratch, but I doubt many users have the time / effort to do that :p

Don't have to, generally pc's that suck some with hardware within those ranges, so that is what you should expect to pay + a little more since it's prebuilt, but that chart is off, I got a 2600k rig and spent $400 less then what should be expected, all about the sales I guess

ROLL TIDE!!!
Ebay will screw you every time. There is no deal on computers there.

Build your own. Buy the parts on Newegg, or TigerDirect. You will have hundreds of dollars + it will be 300% better quality parts.
