(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Ihave a retail copy of snow leopard on a dvd I burned the iso to, don't worry, I know it works to be booted, because there is an EFI string that patches the system allowing it to boot, but I cannot seem to get the CD to boot off a restart. I have changed the boot device priority to CD ROM, floppy, harddrive, network group, in that order.

I have also clicked the boot menu in the start of a restart, it still isn't affecting anything, only starting in windows still.

Just go in the BIOS settings in boot menu and disable everything except CD ROM to boot, SAVE than exit resart and that should solve yoor problem, I had the same issue.
