Post: [Tutorial]Password on your computer?(Windows XP)

(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); So you ask, what is this tutorial going to be about or what are you going to teach us. Well, I'm going to show you guys a way to get on your computer that has a password lock on it that you don't know. Basically, this tutorial is going to tell you how to make a new account, and mess with a registry key to hide it so you can login into your account in Classic mode or CTRL+ALT+DEL(x2) way. This way, your parents or whoever is in charge of your computer wouldn't know that you made an account since it wouldn't be visible on the "Welcome" screen.

Step 1:Make your account and put a password on it.
Step 2:After you're done making your account, go to Start>Run>regedit.exe
Step 3:Navigate to "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\
CurrentVersion\Winlogon\SpecialAccounts\UserList".
Step 4:Right click on a blank area and then create a "DWORD" value and name it the same thing as your account that you want to hide.

That's all. That wasn't hard wasn't it? Now go on your computer when nobody is home and be free without a computer. Dancing

If you need a visual tutorial on how to hide your account and you didn't understand what I was saying, look at this site.

Is there a way to access an account with a password on it? The target computer only has 1 account and it has a password on it so I can't get in.

I'm sorry to tell you but no. You can't get on? Just format the computer. Otherwise, try going into Safe Mode.

I looked at it and it's legit. Burn it on a CD and use it to get your password back! Dancing

You can't clear your browsing history when you can't logon to the computer. :frown:

Lol, this is for people who are limited to the computer. I guess this tutorial would be useless to you but can be beneficial to others.
