First off, I'm not a fanboy, just have my opinion
PLEASE DON'T TAKE MY POST WRONG WAY THEY ARE NOT ATTACKS OR MENT OFFENSIVE IN ANYWAY.
Clever People would buy a PC for 20% the cost and have 300 times the power. And run VMWARE and install Mac OSX. lol
See, you can have windows and install mac osx on virtual. lol
My PC is just as fast if not faster than a Mac, I guarentee that. Also, I'm running Windows 7, not Linux. If I ran Linux it would blow Mac away. ? Why? Cause my hardware is by far better.

Resolution? Not sure what you ment there...

Virus Protection (Free)
Or run Linux and be faster than Mac. (Yes Debian is faster). And have all installed, and no need for Antivirus.
All people that have open minds, know that Apple Forces you to "Pay/Buy" more than Windows,
BUT. Apple does chagre a Insanely cheaper price for their OS. It's what $30? Hard to beat that lol.
Only reason Mac don't use Antivirus is because hackers don't attack them cause they are so small of the population. if Mac got popular, there 'would' be just as many virus' for mac as windows.

The problem about comparing both, is that PC can be customized to be the same as an Mac -- but not Apple.

You could do it as well with a PC. But here are my opinion on what both are better on:
Mac:
- Design
- Speed
- Portable
- Resolution
PC:
- Customization
- OS (Windows)
- OS (Linux)

Guys's stop comapring the OS's. I mean Mac OS is pretty much based off on linux, that is why its called Unix. Debian Linux is where its at for only $500. I have 6gb ram, 2.3 ghz processor, Ati Radeon hd 4200 graphics, and 500gb hardrive. Debian runs faster than mac osx btw.

I agree, but I'm sure there are free alternatives on Mac also. I'm just trying to be fair. And see the perks of both sides.
I personally wouldn't ever buy a Mac because they are more proprietary than windows.
But both sides do have their perks.

No you paid 2x the amount just on the same exact hardware that anyone could assemble and then put windows on. The only difference is that you have an OS that doesn't really do a whole lot

Resolution, I meant the screen. The screen Apple inputed is soooooo darn pretty it makes me just want to stare at it the whole day.

Mine came with all the pre programmes like word, powerpoint etc..
Mac's are too overpriced for their capabilities. Pc all the way. :2k7:
