If i were to get a new hard drive for my 2009 macbook pro would i be able to switch the hard drives whenever and use the new one as an extra space type thing?

You could buy an external Hard drive and you can get 1tb for £50

but what would happen if i had 2 hard drives? Would that work?

You should be able to :p but the drives aren't really easy to switch
