(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Is there a way for me to use things like horizon and modio on linux? Also I would want codtool and xbox360 tools. Could this work?

also when I try to boot into ubuntu and click on try it, it just wont go to the desktop.

You may be able to run them on wine. If it's a VB.NET application, installing the windows version of MONO on it may do the trick. If you link me to them I could give it a try and reply.

I have tried that same method, it doesn't work sadly.

Well, is there a way to use .net framework applications? that is what they require and to install one?

1. Are you asking for the ability to play xbox mods on xbox games INSIDE Linux? or are you asking for a way to put an xbox modding program onto linux so you can mod your normal xbox games?

2. If ubuntu doesn't loadthat could be a RAM problem or one of many problems... what version of ubuntu are you runn, did it show an error sign?

If you can run your terminal, type these commands and
paste the system.txt file here.
uname -a >system.txt
lspci >>system.txt
lspci -vv >>system.txt

It's hard to help when that are so many possibilities.

1) I want to mod my normal games not play them

2) I got it to boot, i guess 11.04 wont work on my computer. I tried 10.04.3 and it booted fine

That's probably because your computer can't handle unity, try this You must login or register to view this content. to use Gnome classic (gnome 2, which is used in 10.04 and 10.10)

If what really doesnt work? Like would you say to install windows inside linux?

Using a virtual windows machine would be good for what you're saying you need it for, just to use a few programs.

And jim probably meant if the programs you want don't work in WINE.
