1. This should be in debate section (just saying)

2. It depends.

ATI is better on graphics and caching but it takes up more CPU resources, so If you care about your PC resources then get nVidia there better on resources but their GFX/Caching level is not as good. so It's basically up to you.

Just make sure that your computer supports it, if it doesn't then you will end up wasting money and time.

Radeons are good but consume so much shit. I'd never get it for gaming, and is that dedicated or low end?

I cba to look.

Anyone who says AMD (ATI) graphics cards aren't good for gaming are blowing a very uneducated opinion out of their ass, same for those who say that about NVIDIA. NVIDIA and AMD are never going to be better than each other performance wise, because they're always going to release a model that one-ups the other's previous one that one-up'ed the one before that. It's a never ending cycle, and I wouldn't have it any other way. :p

AMD cards always come at a good price point, whereas NVIDIA tends to be more expensive, but it all depends on the maker of the graphics card when it comes to that (Sapphire, EVGA, Zotac, etc.). As for drivers, NVIDIA's do tend to be easier to find, as has been said before, but AMD's are just as good.

Between EyeFinity and PhysX and stuff like that, I wish every graphics card had all of those features, it's a shitty feeling to have to choose. Gaspkay:

That is such an uneducated and false statement, there is not a single ounce of truth.

If you take two equally priced cards, they will perform very similarly. AMD sometimes beats Nvidia at some price points, and vice versa. But never by more than 3 FPS average. AMD's eyefinity is superior for multiple monitors, but that's about it. Nvidia has better driver support, most games won't have driver problems and neither will most Linux distros. I generally prefer Nvidia but it is really just a preference.

Worth the Weight
I've been using ATI ever since I can remember. I have never had any problem with it, except for the fact that my Laptop as the shittiest ATI card EVER :FU:
