think about it, if its easy for everyone to get photoshop then kids grow up using it and learn how to use it over any other program in that area... so when they grow up and work for / own a company they know how to use photoshop and then the company will buy it because thats what people know how to use... the high price is because its usually companies that are going to be paying for it
