Personally i would stick with Snow Leopard.. Lion doesn't have very many major changes or improvements.. The only features that i really use are full screen and the new gestures..

it has multi-touch gestures, full-screen apps, mission control, mac app store, launchpad, auto save and versions, and mail are new...the gestures take a little getting used to, mission control i like personally since it organizes everything and shows all whats opened, resume also new say if your working on your computer and it shutdown since it has low battery or someone turns it off while your doing work it will launch all the apps that where opened before. The autosave saved my ass a lot of times for school because usually i save at the end and once i was working on a 15-page essay i tried to save and the app couldn't and crashed i opened it up and it saved...Last is airdrop if I'm working on a assignment and finish before class ends i can just send my file to my teacher without a usb but both of you need to be on lion...if you want to try and get it free go here You must login or register to view this content. download MAC OS X 10.7 Lion GM or the one with VMware with the final i downloaded GM one...
