(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); I got a mac mini with lion server as a gift from my grandparents but i cant connect to it with the server admin tool ive tried entering the ip and root for the username ive tried the whole serial# and the first 8 #s but still cant connect any help with this would be awsome and im planing on installing Lion OS and removing the server since im not a computer dev ps im a noob on macs so a tut would be great thanks

I don't see why you couldn't downgrade to a NON-server version. Worst case scenario you buy the $29 standard Lion on the appstore and make a bootable USB with it to reinstall it.

Its a preinstalled server and i cant download lion os because my other computer came with it so it won't let me re download it any ideas on hot to get around this or should i try installing a older os



figured it out apple forgot to install a file for the ssh connection so you couldn't connect to it they fixed it a thanks for the loads of help
