Yep you heard it folks, AMD is coming back at intels 2nd gen i-series, and they came back with a punch!
The new design is incredible fast, and cheap. It's highest end AMD Bulldozer x8 with have 5.2Ghz at stock. Yes you heard me right, at STOCK. Professional overclockers have even managed to get it to 8400 Mhz, imagine the speed! So right now you must be thinking . . ."wow that's so crazy, well it has to cost a fortune right?" WRONG! The highest end there (5.2Ghz) will be priced $275 :wtf: yeah that's right cheaper than the 2nd Gen i7 2600K (sandy bridge). The middle model will be priced around $225, and around 5Ghz, and the low end model will be $180-200 and 4.8Ghz. The schedule day to release this will be October 12th 2011. Now the might hold it back just a little while longer, but we can only hope untill this release.

Video's will be provided below (Overclocked Bulldozer)

Damn... I'm about the buy an i7 2600k on my computer tomorrow or the day after, and I'm wondering if I should wait. Not a big fan of AMD, but this looks pretty damn good.

I'm most likely going to stay with the i7 though. It still outperferoms it any some ways.

wow thats actually amazing.could someone answer this,i know that the more Ghz a CPU has the faster it is, but does more Ghz just mean more power going into it? (yes im not a big computer person)

Not necassary, it just gets faster since it's working harder, and that's when you need to get better cooling, or water tank for cooling which is bad ass btw!

i'd prefer a Acer Predator i7 to be honest, cause it has like 2TB HDD and 4GB RAM with the best grahpics card out when it was made Happy

why not build your own?

That's what I did and it's way cheaper.
all you need to know is
1. install psu
2. how to install motherboard
3. how to install cpu onto motherboard
4. how to put heatsinc fan on
5. Then just install any ram/gfx cards you have.
6. Plugin all the cords, and wallah!
Boot that baby up!

Also what motherboard are you using b/c i know that motherboards with bios cannot support HDD's past 2.2TB, only UFI which is awesome btw.

If you need any help or support I am here, always helping Winky Winky
