Seems simpler to me just to download the official PDF viewer and just load it up in that... :/

I don't know what the heck you mean but there's no such thing as an 'official pdf viewer' and firefox doesn't have one by default

Bleh, well you know what I mean. A PDF Viewer of any kind.

Adobe, the most common is bloated as hell, also forces you to update every 5 minutes and put shortcuts all over your desktop.

The only decent one for windows at least is sumatraPDF, but that has a retarded colour scheme and lack of options.

Really, because I've downloaded some of the free PDF viewers and I haven't had any issues with it. XP SP3.
