As you may or may not know, the amd's bulldozer has been released today. It is supposedly a eight core processor which sounds impressive but what i am wondering is that is it really THAT powerful or is it just overrated? I was just wondering what you guys think about it and what you think this processor is best suited for. Is it good for gaming? Is it best for Video editing? Is it good for hacking the gibson? What do you think of this new processor? Is it a epic piece of technology or is it Tra-raassssssssssssh? Post your thoughts here.

User needs a dick
It's diffidently powerful. But to be honest it's to powerful and only a corporation that does huge graphic renders or things along those lines would need one in my opinion. It's for sure to much for the standard Pc user.

It looks amazing but i think you guys are right. It is a lot of cores but it is also kind of cheap for the amount of cores you get. I think i might use it in one of my future builds just to see how it is like rendering with cinema c4d and gaming but im not sure how well it would do with gaming.

Do a barrel roll!
It isn't too powerful, it barely outperforms the i5 2500K. It even lost to the i7 920 in some benchmarks, and it's from 2008.

I am error
Saw some benchmarks in games the i5-2500k and the i7-2600k beat it, in mostly everything else it was just behind of the 2600k and tied with the 2500k. So overall I'm not impressed.
