any computer for around $400-500 with a graphics card will do.

I hope you meant pounds there and not dollars, you wouldn't get a PC capable of playing any games for 400$.

But yeah, build your own PC, reccomending Hardwareversand.de, I think they ship to the UK, they shipped to Ireland so I would assume they do the UK too.
Anyway, great prices, and they will build it for you for 20euro. Took exactly one week for them to build and ship mine from Germany to Ireland.

My Hate
At least I can fight
Try surfing the web and seeing what fits your needs. You can also build one but I'm pretty sure you didn't come here to hear that.

Tips:
Processor:Any processor shipped after 2011 will do since I know you won't have it built before December 31st. (Or just get an i7)
Graphics: Nvdia GTX 570 Is sure to pound ass
RAM: 5 GB usually will do even though 4 GB is required for recommended settings
Mouse and Keyboard is your choice, Whatever fits your needs
Monitor: DVI, HDMI, and VGA compatible. (One of my PC towers DVI display adapter broke meaning I had to switch to VGA.)
Tower: At least 4 USB ports if you need them. Maybe AV cable slots input and output. SD card slots too I'm guessing.

This is what I thought of off the top of my head. I hope it helps!

COD4 is 4 years old, technology has advanced a LOT since then, what would have cost 700$ 4 years ago would only cost 200$ now.
(Also 100$ is 74$, you'd be lucky to get a good CPU and some RAM for that price.

lol, gaming computers are cheap :dumb:
He also has BF3 in there, you think your PC could play that smoothly? Not a chance.

just stop your embarrasing yourself. Unless you want 1000+ fps you do not need the specs...

oh and also how many computers have you built? Cause I've made around 30, and know how they work instead of saying that i've done it. So just accept defeat. stare
