(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Well for Christmas I decided to purchase a gaming PC. (Chill, I'm building it)

So here it is:

GTX 580
i7 2600k
16GB DDR3 1600mhz RAM
120GB SSD
1TB Data Drive (7200RPM)
Asus P8Z68-V/GEN3 motherboard
H80 Liquid Cooling from Corsair

So right now I bought a 850Watt 80+ bronze certified PSU from Corsair.

If let's say I wanted to add a second GTX, would my PSU handle it? Because I am under the impression that it wont.

Should I just stick to a single card and upgrade the PSU later and just OC the shit out of everything on this build? Because that's what I was thinking of doing.

Inputs PLEASE =D

I'm going to Tiger Direct tomorrow to pick up some cables for my 3ti so I will be getting the chance to ask for an upgrade. I'll just go with the 1.2KW PSU and dish out the extra cash and be 100% safe for the future.

If not do you think it still could run it though?

Edit: I found You must login or register to view this content.. Yay or Nay?

This is probably going to be for a future upgrade. Perhaps another GTX or something. Maybe I'll upgrade when the next gen cards come out.

Tiger direct has an OCZ 1250w for $210. I'm planning on buying it for my rig here in a few days. I would definitely go with that one over that cooler master.

They're $260 here in Canada from what I see on the website.

The store closes at 9:00 PM so I still have some time to head out right now. Thanks for the input :y:
