I need to install grafs kernal on Ubuntu 10.10. I've tried to run it and it says it cant because of it being a powerpc file type or something.

That would mean it's been compiled for a PowerPC processor and since it's not working means you're not using a PowerPC processor, you're more than likely using an x86 processor.
Where did you get it from? Perhaps there's a version for x86(-64) processors if you still need/want to use it.

Thanks for quoting, I hate when people don't quote. Anyways, yeah. I'm using a 32bit system. Where could I find the x86 version(s) at?

Well you could try messaging graf some way or another and try asking him for the source code so you can try and compile it yourself for x86 (which will work as long as there isn't anything PPC specific like PowerPC assembly). But I'm pretty sure graf's linux kernels are only meant to be used on PS3's (PS3's run PowerPC processors so naturally they need a PPC kernel).
