You don't want a SSD for editing, they're only small so an SSD will fill up really quickly if you use it to store edited movies and pictures.
But for an OS Drive it is amazing. I get a 12second full boot up time with my Crucial M4.
Use it for all your programs as well, you don't need to save stuff on the SSD but the programs will be open instantly if you have them on the SSD.

My boot up time isn't slow, but it isn't amazingly fast like an SSD would make it. So if I wanted an SSD just for quick boot up times/Opening programs amazingly fast what should I get (If I was to buy one)
Just a Q, would it make rendering faster too or is that just CPU/GPU ?
