    error: no such partition

grub rescue>

What can I do to fix this? I really need this computer for school, as I have two computers courses

I don't own a Win7 disk, my computer came preloaded. Is it possible to burn a CD with it from the Ubuntu live cd?

Just download whatever one is appropriate then burn it to a DVD with Brasero (you should already have this on the live CD/DVD), or if you don't have a DVD available you can make a bootable USB with Windows 7 on it using Unetbootin (you'll need to install it.. just do 'sudo apt-get install unetbootin'.

Thanks for the help, I managed to fix it off the Live CD though. Hopefully this can help some other people too.
