Really this is a dead question. At this point people who prefer macs either just love Apple or need it for professional reasons. I see no point in buying a Mac when my PC will kick the shit out of any Mac out there. People now just buy them to feel happy and have all their tech-retarded friends be like: "WOW OGmomGOM he haz teh MAC"

I can run whatever you throw at me. My hardware is better and cheaper.

PC for the simple fact of gaming. Mac is great (I used to have a Mac) and I loved how well it worked. But owning a good gaming rig seems satisfying, especially when you research and buy the parts and build it yourself. Then upgrading it later down the track, something that you wont see for a Mac.

Just my opinion.

We're more so talking about the computers themselves, rather than the OS.
The Mac OS is nice, but the hardware is shit. Thats what matters anyway, the hardware, a custom built PC would hammer any Mac out there even if half the price was spent on the PC.

A strong PC is better than the overpriced Mac. Fact.

macs run the same hardware pc does now , whats your point most ppl go with the os for looks and what features come with it , now your talking about computer builds not a operating systems and pc"personal computer" a mac is that as well details is how stable the os is this use to be why customers bought macs is windows used to be instable on older builds but is no longer really a factor , imo windows 7 runs pretty good

Please read over that posts and add proper punctuation, I didn't understand any of it.

Fact: ANY Pre-built computer, both Mac (which are all pre-built), and PC's are shit. They use shitty cheap to manufacture components, and people get sucked into their marketing techniques. The only way to get a good computer, is if you order all the components and build it yourself.

any company who sell's products sell's them to make it easy for the consumer to easily obtain said product so marketing techniques is bs of what you just said , tbh the general public is stupid and isnt smart enough to build a computer thats why companies sell them pre built not cause they are trying to short you cause they think your retarded , and what i said was a mac is a pc personal computer , they use same hardware windows computers use now and windows used to be in-stable and thats why macs picked up in popularity

Linux Mint, Ubuntu, Kbuntu, Xubuntu, Solaris or any form of Linux is more stable. I can admit that Mac is more simple to use, mainly why I am contemplating to purchase one for my daily laptop, but the truth is that Mac OS X isn't the most advanced OS that is out there and it's minimalistic style does appeal to some people, which I can understand.

Macs are still overpriced for what they have to offer in terms of hardware. Don't act like they are not. But the whole beauty of Mac is that it doesn't need all of those specs to run well. Similar to the iPhone, Apple cared for software and hardware integration which means that the OS knows what hardware it's running on. That to some people is worth the premium, to me I'm not so sure.

In the end both are good, but honestly: Desktop: PC Laptop: Mac

I just want to steal my friends MBA
