I don't think MW3 is on Mac. You will have to use Bootcamp.

The game should work fine in BootCamp. Since you didn't specifically state which Mac you have, the game would best on a Mac with a dedicated graphics card (iMac, Mac Pro, Macbook Pro 15 inch and 17 inch, and possibly the upgraded Mac Mini). You could try the game on the Macs with the Intel HD 3000 integrated card, but I think that you'll either need to set the game to extremely low settings or the game simply won't play at all.

I have the 13 inch Macbook Pro (Not designed for gaming) and I played MW2 in BootCamp on extremely low settings and it was playable, but not so beautiful to look at and a tad laggy at times. For me, it was better to play it on the console or on a more powerful PC.

I'm not sure if Wine has been upgraded or changed, but in my experience it's been better and easier to use BootCamp.
