(eg. You are putting an LGA 1155 on an LGA 1155 capable motherboard)
Of course a higher end motherboard would be more reliable and *could* have slightly better optimization but other than that there won't be a difference.
But if you are going high end, get a high end motherboard. The motherboard is a bitch to replace so you might as well make your computer future poof with any updates.
sorry thats more what i ment , it will run it , but with a better motherboard the graphics card can perform to its maximum effectivness.
