(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); i was just wondering if i have a lower end motherboard say about £30's worth and i got a high end graphics card and cpu will the motherboard affect their performance.

Yes im afraid it will effect gaming , you really want a good motherboard if its to cope with running the graphics card smoothly.

Worth the Weight
No. The motherboard will preform just fine as long as it can support the hardware that you are putting on.

(eg. You are putting an LGA 1155 on an LGA 1155 capable motherboard)

Of course a higher end motherboard would be more reliable and *could* have slightly better optimization but other than that there won't be a difference.

But if you are going high end, get a high end motherboard. The motherboard is a bitch to replace so you might as well make your computer future poof with any updates.

sorry thats more what i ment , it will run it , but with a better motherboard the graphics card can perform to its maximum effectivness.
