(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Hello folks, Neo here, just wanted to ask a couple of questions about youtube since i know a fair number of you have your own youtube channels and have made videos before, now i've just been and purchased a Hauppage PVR gaming edition recording box and everything is set up except i'm waiting on one thing (a 5m USB cable ) anyway once i have this i'll be able to record gameplay to my PC which is fine and dandy but i also would like to comentate the game as i play without going back and commentating after recording, now the Recording will record whatevers on my TV including sounds etc etc. so what i'd like to know is the best way to comentate whilst playing so that my commentating will match what i'm playing timing wise?

What set-ups do you guys have and is there any particular software you recomend using? if you have any tips or info as to what i need to do i'd appreciate it very much as i've never done this before and always wanted to. Also can anyone explain to me how youtube works with regard to paying you as i heard that youtube pays people money if they get X ammount of subs or views or stuff, is this true or just rumor/false info?

Also, you could record both voice and video at the same time. Becoming one of those "Live commentaries". Sony Vegas got a recording feature. What I did was to start the voice recording after exactly 10secs with video recording. To make it sync perfectly.

i have a trial version of sony vegas, hopefully i can get myself a full version, will this record things or is it just an editor?
