Nope, I get onto the game screen, With the dragon in the background.. No errors anywhere.. It just doesnt load the gameplay.. just stops on retvieving realm list ??

As much as this might suck, you're most likely going to have to reinstall the game. Usually works with other simple problems like this.

Im almost positive that wouldn't have anything to do with that. Unless the realmlist is wrong and in that case it would just need to be edited, but from my past expierence with the game on live and private servers. When blizz would have one of there opps we hit the fuck up the servers button, that exact thing would happen as the servers were trying to come up.
As for private servers it was kind of the same issue, the realm server crashed and didn't come back up. He could try and do the reinstall but there really isn't anything client sided that could affect that at least nothing that I am aware of
