(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); I am using vista and when i go to rename a folder, the windows tell me ' The file or folder does not exist.' it is kinda of weird. why cant i rename folders ??

What is the current folder name and what are you trying to name it to?

i created a folder as usual in Pictures and tried to rename it from New Folder to Renders

that probably has nothing to do with vista, its more of a problem with the folder.

can you rename any other folders?? or is it that one only that you can't rename?

No, i cant rename any other folders, i tried on Desktop, Documents, Pictures,, music and i still cant rename

ok i searched it on google, and maybe this might help... You must login or register to view this content.

it says the problem came from an update for windows which deletes some ipmortant registry files.. so read up in there, hopefully it'll help
