(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Me and my brother have completely same PC's but his pc has better performance than mine. We have the same drivers and i even formated my PC but the performance is still different?
Pc's specs:
Nvidia 520MX

6gb
Windows 7 64 bits Home in my brothers, 64 bits Professional in mine.
Any ideas?

Do they use the same hard drive? Perhaps your HDD has a bad sector or something. Or maybe one stick of RAM is no longer working.

Use this guide to check your HDD

Also are you using the absolute best drivers for your system? It is very possible that he has upgraded through windows update and you perhaps have not.

Can you explain what you mean by "different performance"?

If everything has been truly confirmed to be working fine, I doubt that the performance will be very different.

It's quite possible that the hardware for your brothers computer hardware could have just been from a different wafer, PCB etc.

No two components of hardware will be alike (My GPU can overclock to 989MHz on Air cooling, while other's can't hit 900Mhz), your brother must have gotten a better selection from the factory.

Nothing you can really do unless it's very noticeable.

Your computer might have gotten a virus that hogs CPU usage but u said you formatted? this auto means its a hardware problem
check how hot your computer gets and let me know

RIP PICHU.
Essentially two people can buy the same hardware and yet they may be slightly different due to the fact that this is manufactured and isn't always 100% the same as hardware is not the same as putting a toy car together.

I agree with the above, I think your brother just got the better hardware that was either put together and had cleaner metals than you. As long as your hardware meets what your box states you shouldn't complain but if you are running below it, you might have some bad hardware or worn/damaged hardware.
