Try burning Windows to a disk, or if you haven't already thought of it just restore :p

You get them dead cheap nowadays so it shouldn't be hard to find them in your local shop.

I kinda had the same problem as you one day, only I installed Backtrack over my main windows partion.. I know right? Derp move anyway I just burned windows to a disk. It's the easiest way to get windows back to normal :fa:

Anyway good luck hope you get it back to the way it was :fa:

So today I downloaded a 64bit .ISO extracted it ect.. And put it on my USB to do a fresh install of windows on 64bit..
BUTTTTTTTTTTT to make the USB bootable you need to do a cmd command "bootsect /nt60 m:" And you have to use the bootsect.exe provided in the .iso under ./boot/ since the files in the .iso are ALL 64bit, I cannot do this command as I am running 32bit.. Help please.

You must login or register to view this content.

You might want to take a look at this. I believe you must reformat first then install Windows. (Your computer will still boot because your motherboard has a BIOS, which loads basic drivers)

As other people said, just burn Windows 7 64-bit to a DVD (but.. most versions of Windows come with the choice to install 32-bit or 64-bit; that's how it was for me every time I install Windows 7. I only have one disk and it works on all my computers (32 & 64).) You'll want to format the HDD if you can so backup any important data, without a format you may run into more errors.
