Yes, but that CPU really isnt as good as it looks, The i5-2500k is better in overall performance, and its slightly cheaper, if you have the extra money, get an i7-2600k.
If you got an i5/i7 you'll need a socket 1155 motherboard, i'd go for the ASRock Z77 Extreme 4 motherboard, its only £100.
Its a Z77 board so you can always upgrade to ivy bridge proccesors.

yes it will and that is a fine build, you might not get ultra at 60fps but i def know it will get 60fps on High 1080p, get a bigger power supply such as a 650w and in the US the FX 8150 is cheaper than the i5, watch you don't get a z77 board that isn't compatable with the Sandy Bridge i series cpu because z77 is Ivy which as the same preformance as a Sandy

Fine build, but you have better options on the proc. i5 are fine you don't need an i7. Amd has better chips than that one, you really only need a 4 core.

Sandy bridge is compatible in z77 boards too... but z77 boards support better overclocking and a few more features, the ivy bridge is also compatible with z77 boards but ivy bridge dont overclock so well because they have bad heating issues.

Assuming you haven't already ordered it.

Swap out the Motherboard for a Z77 motherboard. Make sure it's Z77.

Purchase a 3570k and a cooling solution.

Or purchase a Z68 motherboard and a 2500k.

Other than that the build is pretty decent. It shouldn't have any problems playing BF3 on ultra, but it wont get a constant 60FPS.
