I'm sure you should be ok as the Monitor is HDMI and the 7970 is also HDMI as far as I know. The monitor is 3D so you won't get Eyefinity though 3D as well Smile

The Low Key OG
still the same OG, but I've been low key
Eyefinity is more dependent on the graphics card than the monitor. I've got my 3 screens rigged up with DVI to HDMI conversions. You'll be good to go if you get those. :y:

im not bothered about 3d, i dont like 3d, i just went with that monitor because its 120hz and its had good reviews.
if i did get it, how would i connect it? because i've seen people that have like 2 dvi connections, and a display port connection. how would i do it on that?

edit : would i use the 2 mini display ports on the 7970, and use a mini DP to DP adapter, and 1 hdmi?

If your going to have two 7970's then you will be ok for 3 monitors as the 7970's have 2 display port connectors, do with 2 7970's you will have 4 display port connectors, meaning you can do 3 monitors off display port connector Smile

Say if you were to use the 2 display ports and the HDMI that should work but you might be best asking someone with the 7970 to make sure Smile

I might miss something here, but he has a 120 HZ screen, HDMI supports 60.
You have to use a Display Port to be able to use the 120 HZ

Do you? Last time I check 120HZ is just the screen refresh rate shit nothing to do with the connector used :/

The maximum pixel clock rate for HDMI 1.0 was 165 MHz, which was sufficient to support 1080p and WUXGA (1920×1200) at 60 Hz.

I guess it does, mister. But below that it says the newer versions do support up to 340 HZ, allthough I know that one of the monitors I was going to buy didnt support 120 HZ via HDMI but just via the Display Port. That's why I mentioned it.
