Post: Dual Booting Windows 7 & Mac OSx - I need help

(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); I want to dual boot my Acer Aspire 5745 and from what i can tell i have compatible specs for OSX

Try booting from a USB (need to make the USB bootable, easy.. Just google "How to make a USB bootable"), DVD boots are sometimes unreliable.

To make a bootable usb for mac you need to already have a mac machine :\

Not advertising but I asked a friend of mine on skype who is running a Hackintosh and this website apparently gave him everything he needed. Maybe post your specs on there and see what they can off you.

I just posted my specs on there, hoping to get some replys thanks

I might also try installing osx to an external HDD and then booting that see how it goes

If dual booting doesn't fall through, have you considered running OSX in VirtualBox?

Yes, but my laptop specs are not good enough for it to run smoothly (at least from a previous experience) I am downloading vmware and i have the iso's ready so i am trying it again but i do want to be able to dual boot
