I have that monitor a HDMI to DVI converter and a ps3 but my screen is just black when I use it... I tried all the resolutions my ps3 and I just get black screen! Any help? Oh and the buttons on my monitor are not responding so that's just a usefull bit of info

The monitor is in working condition? The buttons not working is a big problem.

Yeah you might want to make sure the monitor can display an image from a PC. If it doesn't, might want to start looking for a new monitor.

It's perfect new from shop and can display everything, is there a way to fix the buttons maybe?

Have you tried testing the HDMI to DVI cable, that may need replacing...

The only way I could test it is through the monitor

If the buttons do not work,even when plugged into a pc it is the monitor. If you have the reciept
I would return it. The pc board for the controls might be cracked, it would explain why they do not work.
