(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); does anyone have any ideas on why my pc is soooo slow?
it use to be really fast when i first got it now its just ... crap!

when i open my browser it takes usually up to 10-15min just to load the internet, then to log in on ngu it takes around an additional 5 min

i have tried looking around and tried what some ppl suggested (mall-aware) or however you spell it

i think the problem is a virus but none of the programs are even detecting the virus so i dont know what to do? any ideas?

Computer specifications would be helpful. Although unless you're running a 10 year old computer you should not have these problems. Have you tried using Malwarebytes? It's a free program that works wonders and is very dependable.

Although it's extremely unlikely unless you're on dial up or something, it could be your internet throttling your speeds during peak hours. What speeds are you usually receiving?

If your computer is old I'd say it most likely is your processor. Probably a single or dual core at the most. Also, like you've stated you might have a virus but I'm not much of a PC guy so I don't really know shit about them :fa:

It's not a laptop right? Check if your power settings are set to high performance. Also, you could download something called Speccy and take a screenshot of that and put it up here if you'd like. (So that we can see the specifications)

Although I could hardly see it, the specs are nothing impressive. The RAM is slow and the CPU is something I've never even heard about. But it still passes the minimum requirements for Windows 7. It shouldn't be taking that long to do things. Have you used Malwarebytes to scan your PC for malware? Also try cleaning up your PC using CCleaner.
