(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Im having a few problems with my Windows movie maker. I put my Cap Card in ok and it even works on the 'picture-only' test (where you can view it to check it's working and take a simple screenshot). I start up my windows movie maker and it's fine, except when I click 'Capture Video'. It shows my cap card there but when I select it from the menu on WMM it just freezes.

Any suggestions as to help please?

Your RAM or memory is too low for using it. I suggest getting more RAM or memory for your computer.

512MB will be enough for it. I think.

Check and see if there are any new/updated drivers for your capture card.

I've just bought the latest CD to install the drivers, still it doesn't work.

Why would you buy a driver CD? It should come free with the device. Plus drivers on a CD are usually out of date; the most recent ones will be online.
